Registrant Spotlight: Dr. Marie C. Weil

Congratulations to Registrant Marie C. Weil, PsyD, who was selected as a winner of the inaugural National Latino/a Psychological Association (NLPA)/American Board of Professional Psychology Foundation (ABPPF) Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Scholarship.

Dr. Marie C. Weil is a bilingual Clinical Psychologist with the Palliative Care Program and Community Living Center at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System, US Department of Veterans Affairs in Puerto Rico. She obtained a PsyD and MS in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, an MA in Applied Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, and a BS Honors Degree in Psychology and Spanish from Sweet Briar College.

For her dissertation, Dr. Weil developed a cultural competency continuing education program for psychologists who supervise graduate students of clinical psychology focused on developing and increasing sensitivity to Latino culture and language.

Dr. Weil has been credentialed by the National Register since 2013.
